Minister of Universities and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, visited the Artificial Intelligence for Industry Institute (AI4I), a nationally significant project based at OGR Torino—an innovation and culture hub fully redeveloped thanks to the efforts of Fondazione CRT.
Welcoming the Minister were Anna Maria Poggi, President of Fondazione CRT; Fabio Pammolli, President of the AI4I Center; and Maurizia Rebola, General Director of OGR Torino.
Established through a ten-year memorandum of understanding between Fondazione CRT, OGR Torino, and Fondazione AI4Industry—with support from the Ministry of Universities and Research, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy—AI4I positions itself as a new benchmark for transformative research in the field of artificial intelligence. Its mission is to empower young researchers and entrepreneurs while enhancing the impact of AI on Italy’s industrial system.
Minister Bernini’s visit reaffirms AI4I’s strategic role in developing an Italian innovation ecosystem and strengthening the country’s competitiveness through applied research and technology transfer.
