Fondazione CRT for Schools

A school year rich in new opportunities for students and teachers in Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta thanks to three initiatives by Fondazione CRT for education: the new call “Insieme per il successo formativo FFTP 4+2” dedicated to technical and/or vocational institutes; the 2025/2026 edition of the Diderot Project—opening for the first time also to nursery schools and CPIAs; and “Il mio posto nel mondo”, which continues to expand, involving more and more children and young people, reaching the entire territory of the two regions with pre- and after-school programs for those in vulnerable situations.

Today’s presentation in Turin was attended by Giuseppe Valditara, Minister of Education and Merit, confirming the importance of this shared effort between Fondazione CRT, the Regional School Office, and the school community. As Minister Valditara stated:

“The 4+2 project supported by Fondazione CRT is fully in line with the Ministry’s policy: it enhances talents, strengthens the link between schools and businesses, and fosters a high-quality educational offer. The results of Agenda Sud and the launch of Agenda Nord show how crucial it is to invest in personalized teaching to combat school dropout and disengagement. In Piedmont, the 4+2 model anticipates European guidelines on technical-vocational education and values a system of excellence, giving young people real opportunities for growth and qualified employment.”

“Fondazione CRT, always at the forefront in the enhancement and training of human capital, renews and strengthens its commitment to education, supporting students and teachers from didactic innovation to assistance in fragile contexts, and fostering links with the world of work,” said Anna Maria Poggi, President of Fondazione CRT. “We intend to consolidate a true alliance with the school community, institutions, and the territory, fully aware that only by working together can we offer young people effective educational pathways consistent with future professional needs.”

Insieme per il successo formativo

Promoted by the Regional School Office for Piedmont with the support of Fondazione CRT, the project is addressed to technical and/or vocational schools.
Its goal: strengthening the links between school, training, and employment by valuing skills and educational innovation.

The call is framed within Law 121/2024, which established the technological-vocational education pathway (FFTP). According to the Strategic Study on Combating Educational Poverty, promoted by Teha Group with the support of Fondazione CRT, educational poverty blocks the creation of about 3.2 million jobs and amplifies skill mismatch: Italy lacks 2.2 million workers with an upper secondary or tertiary qualification. Closing this gap would require training just 20% of the least educated workers.

Eligible applicants are state and paritarian technical and/or vocational schools in Piedmont. Each selected school may receive up to €25,000 to implement various actions: specialized training for students and teachers; experiential and guidance activities (e.g. PCTO, company visits, study tours, exchanges with other schools or institutions in the same fields); network design and joint curriculum planning; preparatory and systemic support for the planning and proper functioning of the pathway; workshops, seminars, and exchanges with experts.

Applications can be submitted via the websites of Fondazione CRT and the Regional School Office for Piedmont. The deadline is October 31, 2025.

Diderot Project 2025/2026

Since 2006, Fondazione CRT’s program has been bringing free, innovative, high-quality educational pathways into schools. This year, it expands to 27 teaching lines and to new audiences: alongside primary and secondary schools, for the first time nursery schools and CPIAs will also be able to participate.

With over 1.6 million students already involved in 20 years, Diderot returns with workshops and activities on current topics—from cyber skills to gender violence prevention, from the environment to health. A roadshow across the provinces of Piedmont and Aosta will allow teachers to discover the new programs and enroll their classes during the click day on October 15 at 2:00 pm on www.fondazionecrt.it.

Il mio posto nel mondo

Alongside initiatives aimed at the entire school community, the program dedicated to children and young people in socio-economic fragility continues. The call “Il mio posto nel mondo” makes summer camps and after-school programs more accessible, while also broadening cultural and educational opportunities for those who would otherwise have no access. In 2025, the initiative reached more than 11,000 children and young people aged 3 to 18.
