Values and Mission

The Social Report recounts a year in which Fondazione CRT translated its thirty-year philanthropic vision into concrete action. As highlighted in the introduction, 2024 was not “just about numbers,” but a year in which the Foundation’s principle of subsidiarity strengthened the territory’s assets while addressing social, cultural, and economic vulnerabilities. The Foundation supported projects designed not only to meet present needs but also to build a better future for Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta.

Fondazione CRT’s mission remains to serve as a driver of development and growth for the territory, providing resources, expertise, and reputation to enhance artistic and cultural heritage, scientific research, youth education, and social inclusion. The 2024 Social Report is part of this journey, making the Foundation’s contribution to the UN 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), its commitment to ESG principles, and the consolidation of an impact-oriented culture visible to citizens and stakeholders.

A Tool for Transparency and Participation

The document is intended as both an accountability tool and a means of reflection, with the goal of clearly reporting the full scope of activities, pursued objectives, and results achieved throughout the year. Its drafting involved all areas of the Foundation, valuing the contribution of staff and instrumental entities. It serves as a starting point to strengthen the effectiveness of interventions and promote a systemic vision of philanthropic action.

Publishing the Social Report is a way to share stories, highlight the value of the Foundation’s work, and help build local communities that are more cohesive, resilient, and sustainable—open to peaceful cooperation among people of different ages, cultures, and backgrounds.

Looking ahead

The Social Report reflects Fondazione CRT’s commitment to sharing its impact journey and to deepening dialogue with its territory. The record-breaking figures of 2024—from ordinary revenues to the number of funded projects—were translated into initiatives aimed at combating educational poverty, fostering technological innovation, supporting urban regeneration, and safeguarding cultural heritage.

With this new reporting tool, the Foundation reaffirms its forward-looking commitment: to transform responsible resource management into opportunities for people and communities, in line with the 2030 Agenda and with the sustainability principles that define its identity.
