There is time until Feb. 29, 2024 to participate in the Culture of Solidarity Fund call, a project promoted by the European Cultural Foundation and aimed at creative cultural initiatives focused on northern Italy, particularly Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria and Valle d’Aosta.
The regional “spin off” of the call sees the collaboration and synergy of four foundations: Fondazione CRT, Fondazione CRC, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione Cariplo.
THE CALL
The new call, titled “Just Transition,” asks cultural and arts organizations to help bring about an ecological transition that is equitable and socially responsible, one that does not build new barriers or separations, in line with the mission of the call created to create solidarity through culture.
The call is open to partnerships involving at least two organizations of which:
- the lead partner is a public or private cultural entity based and active in Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria or Valle d’Aosta, and operating in the cultural, creative or civic sector.
- at least one of the partners is a public or private cultural institution based and active in one of the European member states and operating in the cultural, creative or civic sector.
Projects should pursue at least one of the following objectives: support the exchange of knowledge and dissemination of best practices among Italian and European cultural entities, with a view to improving the environmental sustainability of entities; raise awareness of the complexities and urgencies of climate change adaptation

To support the connection and exchange between Italian and European organizations, an online platform has been set up, a kind of digital whiteboard where one can present one’s organization, interests or project ideas and at the same time get to know other organizations interested in the call.
The platform can be accessed by clicking on the following link and creating a free Trello account:
