Governance

The Governance of Fondazione CRT provides the Foundation with strategic direction and sound governance, in accordance with the principles of transparency, accountability and independence.

This section presents the people and bodies responsible for guiding decision-making and overseeing the proper functioning of the Foundation.

Anna Maria Poggi

Anna Maria Poggi is Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Turin. She is the author of nine monographs and more than 250 academic publications on the judiciary, regionalism and federalism, institutional and constitutional reforms, and social rights, with particular focus on education and healthcare. Among her most recent publications on welfare is Per un “diverso” Stato sociale. La parabola del diritto all’istruzione nel nostro Paese (Il Mulino, 2019).

Patrizia Polliotto

Patrizia Polliotto is an attorney admitted to practise before Italy’s Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and holds a degree in Law from the University of Turin. She is the founder of a law firm with offices in Turin, Milan and Rome and has extensive professional and institutional experience. She serves as an independent board member, chair of supervisory committees and member of supervisory bodies in leading national companies and institutions, with expertise in corporate governance, risk management and compliance.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee consists of 22 members, appointed through designation and selection procedures based on objective and transparent criteria, with particular attention to integrity, professional expertise and gender equality. The Foundation also verifies that the appointing bodies are representative of the local area and of the social interests underpinning the Foundation’s institutional mission.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is composed of the Chairman of the Foundation and six additional members, appointed by the Steering Committee within thirty days of the expiry of the outgoing Board’s term of office. Members are selected from individuals with significant professional experience in the liberal professions, business, academia or public administration.
