At OGR Torino, 15 companies redefining impact through data and artificial intelligence presented their most innovative solutions to investors, potential partners, and institutions.
At Binario 3 of OGR Torino, the Demo Day of Impact Deal was held—the program promoted by Fondazione CRT and OGR Torino, coordinated by TOP-IX, with scientific oversight from Fondazione ISI and strategic partnership with Microsoft. The event featured the 15 European startups selected to turn data into social and environmental value. Each company showcased its most innovative solutions to a wide audience of investors, potential partners, and institutional representatives.
Among the standout participants were:
-
Danu Robotics, offering robotic systems for waste sorting automation, also selected for the SXSW London Venture Spotlight Competition;
-
Latitudo40, which recently revamped its Earth Observation and data-driven decision-making platform and received support from the City of Turin via the “ToMove4Future” Call4Testing;
-
SWITCH, following a €1 million funding round, now provides smart fleet management solutions;
-
LOKI, an Impact Deal finalist and one of the “Top 50” European Startups for Mobility, won the jury award at the AI Festival of We Make Future for its road defect mapping system;
-
Fusebox, an Estonian scaleup operating in 13 countries, specializing in integrated energy production and storage management;
-
Zerow, winner of the Best Luxury Startup Award, known for circular reuse of waste from the fashion industry;
-
Minervas, which developed a real-time adaptive eco-driving solution and won the innoVaction call by Fastweb+Vodafone.
Other finalist startups included Containergrid, Enzum, Legal-Pythia, Lit, Overtone, Vaimee, and Veridis, tackling challenges such as energy efficiency, ESG monitoring, access to information, railway maintenance, water resource management, and plastic recycling.
Also featured was PantoHealth, part of the EIT Urban Mobility network, which gained direct access to phase two of the program.
The finalists were selected from an initial group of 29 startups participating in the first phase of the program—chosen from 129 applications, marking a 63% increase compared to the previous edition. One clear sign of the program’s growing impact is the startups’ fundraising capacity: at the time of entry, the cohort had already raised over €78.2 million, a 303% increase over the previous year. This was made possible in part by doubling the number of participating companies.
The event was further enriched by the participation of John McIlwaine, Senior Regional Representative for Italy and Malta at the European Investment Fund, who joined a fireside chat to discuss the role of EU policies in supporting startups and entrepreneurship.
The third edition of Impact Deal was delivered in collaboration with Ashoka, Impact Hub, Impact Europe, DIHP, Mesap Innovation Cluster, and Torino Social Impact, and supported by Advaneo GmbH, Almawave, Bright Data, City of Turin, Cuebiq, Open Data Hub, Planet Smart City, Banca Sella, TIM, and WindTre, all members of the Data Club.
