Orizzonti L.I.V.E. is Fondazione CRT’s new thematic grant programme dedicated to established cultural organizations, designed to generate impact and foster visions capable of transforming territories through the energy of the performing arts.
L.I.V.E. is the acronym that defines the programme’s identity, encompassing its core values and transformative mission:
- L – Locations: territories, spaces, and communities where art takes shape and becomes rooted;
- I – Impact: the cultural, social, and economic transformations generated by projects;
- V – Visions: the creative imaginaries, narratives, and perspectives brought by the performing arts;
- E – Energy: the creative and driving force of art, capable of mobilizing people and territories.
The programme was created to strengthen the transformative potential of cultural organizations, providing targeted and long-term support for initiatives that not only animate local communities but also engage with, interpret, and renew them. The guiding principle of Orizzonti L.I.V.E. is to support those who make culture a driver of change, a shared language, and a force capable of generating a future for their territories.
In particular, the programme seeks to strengthen organizations that operate consistently within local communities, expanding opportunities for participation and contributing to social cohesion. It also supports the development of audience development strategies aimed at attracting new audiences to live performances.
Special attention is given to the promotion of social inclusion and integration through services and practices that encourage the participation of audiences facing economic or social barriers. The programme also supports the involvement of young professional musicians, actors, and dancers, as well as audience engagement initiatives specifically designed for people under the age of 25.
Finally, the programme promotes collaboration through stable networks and strategic partnerships among applicant organizations and recognizes the commitment of cultural institutions to adopting environmental sustainability policies aligned with the objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
