It will take place at OGR Torino on 20 February 2026, starting at 9:45 am, when Officine d’Intelligenza, the 1st National Forum on Artificial Intelligence for Industry, will be held. The event is promoted by the Istituto Italiano di Intelligenza Artificiale (AI4I), OGR Torino and Fondazione CRT.
Officine d’Intelligenza is conceived as a public forum dedicated to the application of Artificial Intelligence in production and industrial systems. It represents the natural evolution of the journey launched in 2025 with the Mind Machines – AI Dialogues series, which brought leading scholars, researchers and international voices in the AI debate to Turin.
The Forum aims to bring together leading representatives from institutions, industry, research and academia to analyse opportunities and enabling conditions for the effective and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence in production processes, contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the Italian and European industrial system.
The day will open with remarks by Fabio Pammolli, President of the Istituto Italiano di Intelligenza Artificiale (AI4I), and Patrizia Polliotto, Secretary General of Fondazione CRT. Speakers will include, among others, the Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso and the Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti (via video link), the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council Alessio Butti, the Mayor of Turin Stefano Lo Russo and the President of the Piedmont Region Alberto Cirio.
Leading representatives of the Italian industrial system will also take part, including Leonardo, ENI, Intesa Sanpaolo, EssilorLuxottica, Fastweb+Vodafone, Fincantieri, Almawave, Duferco Energia, Prada and BV TECH. The Rectors Stefano Corgnati (Politecnico di Torino), Cristina Prandi (Università di Torino) and Menico Rizzi (Università del Piemonte Orientale) will attend, together with representatives of major national research and development centres such as Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), CINECA and Fondazione Chips-IT.
Officine d’Intelligenza will involve the entire Turin innovation ecosystem. Alongside the President of Fondazione CRT, Anna Maria Poggi, participants will include Marco Gilli, President of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo; Marco Gay, President of Unione Industriali Torino; Massimiliano Cipolletta, President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce; and Laura Morgagni, Director of Fondazione Piemonte Innova—demonstrating a territorial value chain that integrates institutions, foundations, industry and research.
The event will also mark the first public presentation of AI4I’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, outlining the Institute’s development priorities in research, infrastructure, technology transfer and services to companies. The Plan will be presented by President Fabio Pammolli, together with Scientific Committee Chair Marco Pavone and Director Antonio E. Calegari.
