For more than twenty years, Fondazione CRT has made a tangible contribution to strengthening and improving the efficiency of the Civil Protection system in Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, recognizing the immense social value of the commitment shown by the volunteers who work every day to ensure the safety of local communities.
Through the “Civil Protection Vehicles” Grant Programme, the Foundation has supported the purchase of vehicles and equipment for the transportation of people and materials at both regional and national levels, helping to enhance emergency response capabilities.
Through the programme, whose latest edition was held in 2021, more than €7.5 million was allocated for the purchase of 653 vehicles, while a further €6.3 million was invested in the establishment and maintenance of the Regional Civil Protection Mobile Column, equipped with heavy-duty vehicles ready to respond to the most complex emergencies.
Fondazione CRT’s support for the Regional Mobile Column continues every year, confirming its long-term commitment to strengthening the operational capacity of the Civil Protection system in Piedmont and the Aosta Valley.
