During the event, the symbolic handover took place from Nina Kovsted Helk, CEO of Realdania, and Henrik Lehmann Andersen, CEO of Nordea Fonden, to Patrizia Polliotto, Secretary General of Fondazione CRT.

The Philea Forum is the annual gathering organised by Philea – Philanthropy Europe Association, the leading network for European philanthropy, of which Fondazione CRT has been a member since 1998. Today, Philea brings together 289 organisations from 36 countries, including 38 from Italy. It serves as a key platform for analysing trends and data, sharing methodologies and best practices applicable to foundations’ activities, and fostering collaboration among philanthropic actors at the European and international levels.

The theme of the 2027 edition will be “Democracy”. Turin provides the ideal setting for this narrative: home to Italy’s first Parliament and first Constitution, with deep industrial and working-class roots, the city has undergone profound transformations throughout its history. Today, it stands as a hub for culture and dialogue, a centre for science and technology, a space for social innovation and an international destination capable of reinventing itself while preserving its identity.

“We are truly delighted to support and host, for the first time in Italy, the Philea Forum 2027 in Turin. Fondazione CRT has always worked with a vision that combines local commitment with an international outlook, convinced that global dialogue can generate tangible opportunities for communities,” said Anna Maria Poggi, President of Fondazione CRT. “This achievement is the result of many years of collaboration with international philanthropic networks and represents an important opportunity for the city, which in 2027 will welcome 800 delegates from all over the world. It will be a high-level occasion for discussing tools, policies and best practices in a particularly meaningful setting such as Turin.”

“Turin is a city that has continuously reinvented itself while remaining true to its values – something that strongly reflects what philanthropy aspires to achieve. We are delighted to bring the Philea Forum to Italy and deeply grateful to Fondazione CRT for the commitment and partnership that made this possible. We look forward to welcoming our community to Turin in 2027 for what promises to be an inspiring and highly impactful event,” commented Delphine Moralis, Chief Executive Officer of Philea.

Turin, the capital of European philanthropy: from 24 to 27 May 2027, OGR Torino will host the Philea Forum, thanks to Fondazione CRT, bringing together 800 delegates from across Europe.

[268
351,627
post-18963","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fondazione-crt-en","tag-attivita-internazionali-en","tag-philea
["GET
