From Helsinki to Turin<\/strong>, a collaboration between Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT<\/strong>, xEdu<\/strong>, and OGR Torino<\/strong> is supporting 10 international startups<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The third edition of NextEdu<\/strong>, the international acceleration program dedicated to startups in the Education Technology<\/strong> sector, officially kicks off. The initiative is promoted by Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT<\/strong> \u2013 the impact-oriented entity of Fondazione CRT<\/strong> \u2013 and xEdu<\/strong>, Finland\u2019s leading EdTech accelerator, in collaboration with OGR Torino<\/strong>, the innovation hub of Fondazione CRT.<\/p>\n

Ten startups have been selected through an international call: innovation<\/strong> and lifelong learning<\/strong> are the common threads linking the seven Italian<\/strong> and three non-European<\/strong> companies, which over the next four months<\/strong> will be supported in developing transformative learning solutions with strong pedagogical impact, closely connected to the local ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Among the selected ventures are three based in Turin<\/strong> \u2013 Experta, PRC Multimedia,<\/em> and VirtuaMentis<\/em> \u2013 alongside four from the rest of Italy<\/strong> (Boosted AI, MemorAIz, Minerva AI,<\/em> and SecureQuest<\/em>) and three international startups<\/strong>: Curans<\/em> (Jordan), Newsreel<\/em> (USA), and SimpleRead<\/em> (Brazil).<\/p>\n

Their projects span a wide range of sectors: from personalized language learning<\/strong> and gamified upskilling<\/strong>, to AI-driven creation of customized educational content<\/strong>, and postgraduate professional training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The common goal is to build inclusive and effective learning environments<\/strong>, fostering growth potential and soft skills across formal education, informal learning<\/strong>, and upskilling\/reskilling<\/strong> contexts.<\/p>\n

The program focuses on key thematic areas such as experiential and adaptive learning technologies<\/strong>, AI for education<\/strong>, microlearning<\/strong>, blended learning<\/strong>, tools for neurodiverse and accessible learning<\/strong>, and corporate training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

NextEdu 2025<\/strong> brings together mentors, investors, and entrepreneurs<\/strong> from around the world while strengthening its ties to the local innovation ecosystem. Through OGR Torino, the program connects with other acceleration initiatives and participates in major educational and innovation events, such as the Social Festival delle Comunit\u00e0 Educative<\/strong> and Torino Capitale dell\u2019Innovazione<\/strong>, promoting active collaboration with local stakeholders.<\/p>\n

The launch of the program includes a keynote session led by Prof. Pierluigi Sacco<\/strong>, Full Professor of Economic Policy, Senior Advisor at the OECD Center for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities<\/strong>, and Associate Researcher at metaLAB (at) Harvard<\/strong>, highlighting the social impact of EdTech enterprises.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition<\/strong>, hosted at OGR Tech<\/strong> from October 29, 2025, to February 11, 2026<\/strong>, will culminate in an international Demo Day<\/strong>, where startups will present the results of their acceleration journey to an audience of potential investors with a focus on Educational Technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
