Once switched on, the Luci will remain visible until January 11, 2026.

As in past editions, and in line with its institutional mission, Fondazione Torino Musei has been entrusted by the City of Turin with the realization and promotion of Luci d’Artista, a project that over the years has become the longest-running and most representative initiative in creating a dialogue between contemporary art, public space, civic identity, and cultural life.

The new Luci d’Artista installations

Among this year’s new light installations, two bear the mark of Fondazione CRT, a longstanding supporter of Luci d’Artista. Thanks to the contribution of Fondazione Arte CRT and OGR Torino, the 2025 edition will be further enriched, strengthening the bond between contemporary art and the city.

The first major news is the arrival of one of the giants of international contemporary art: British artist Tracey Emin. Her participation was made possible by Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT, which, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, decided to donate to the City a prestigious neon artwork by one of the most acclaimed artists worldwide, known — among her many expressive languages — for her iconic light creations.

In addition, the collaboration with OGR Torino continues to grow with a special project designed for its monumental courtyard, where a video work will be presented by Soundwalk Collective together with legendary poet and singer-songwriter Patti Smith, a global rock icon, and American composer Philip Glass, considered one of the pioneers of minimalist music.

Also featured in this 28th edition is a work by Riccardo Previdi, donated to the city thanks to the partnership with the Nitto ATP Finals, and a significant neon installation by Lithuanian artist Gintaras Didžiapetris, made possible by the contribution of the Lithuanian Culture Institute as part of the Lithuanian Culture Year in Italy.

<article class="text-token-text-primary w-full focus:outline-none
