It has provided a growth opportunity both for emerging startups and for the local area, contributing to the development of skills, qualified employment, and new connections among business, research, and institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"1317\">The <strong data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"917\">Demo Day of the sixth edition<\/strong> of the <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"966\">Techstars Transformative World Torino<\/strong> acceleration program took place yesterday at <strong data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1026\">OGR Torino<\/strong>, featuring 12 highly innovative startups selected from hundreds of applications from all continents. The event marked the culmination of an intensive three-month journey in which startups received mentorship, business model validation, and support in developing their entrepreneurial ideas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1832\">During the Demo Day, startups had the opportunity to present the results achieved and share their technologies and business prospects with an audience of investors, partners, corporates, institutions, media, and ecosystem stakeholders. The solutions showcased ranged from Artificial Intelligence to Deep Tech, from the Future of Work to robotics, and innovations in health, creativity, and the environment \u2013 aligned with ESG, Net-Zero, and Circular Economy trajectories that guide the program\u2019s investment thesis.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"2402\">Launched in <strong data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"1863\">2020 in Turin<\/strong>, with headquarters at <strong data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1898\">OGR Tech<\/strong> \u2013 the innovation hub of OGR \u2013 the program initially focused on Smart Mobility (2020 and 2021 editions) and Cities of the Future (2022 and 2023). It has progressively expanded its scope into <strong data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2115\">\u201cTransformative World\u201d<\/strong>, an accelerator dedicated to frontier technologies that offer concrete responses to today\u2019s major economic, environmental, and social transitions. The program is run by Techstars with support from Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, and Fondazione CRT.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"3062\">The initiative is part of a long-term strategy to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Turin, which gained further momentum at the end of 2023 with the signing of a memorandum of understanding among the partners. The goal: to attract talent, support the establishment of new enterprises, foster public-private collaborations, and consolidate Turin\u2019s position among Europe\u2019s most dynamic and attractive innovation hubs. This commitment contributed to the recent recognition by the <strong data-start=\"2886\" data-end=\"2909\">European Commission<\/strong>, which named Turin the <strong data-start=\"2933\" data-end=\"2977\">European Capital of Innovation 2024\/2025<\/strong>, in acknowledgment of its pioneering approach to experimentation and transformation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3536\">The numbers speak for themselves: <strong data-start=\"3098\" data-end=\"3125\">69 startups accelerated<\/strong> from 3 continents across six editions, with <strong data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3205\">over 130 million dollars raised<\/strong> post-program, <strong data-start=\"3220\" data-end=\"3254\">more than 600 new jobs created<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"3256\" data-end=\"3291\">80+ Proof of Concept agreements<\/strong> with Italian companies, and <strong data-start=\"3320\" data-end=\"3342\">3 successful exits<\/strong>, made possible also thanks to the involvement of <strong data-start=\"3392\" data-end=\"3412\">over 500 mentors<\/strong>.
