At OGR Torino<\/strong>, the Techstars Transformative World Torino Accelerator<\/strong> kicks off\u2014an international program that, now in its sixth edition<\/strong>, continues to strengthen the innovation ecosystem<\/strong> in Italy and Europe<\/strong>. On February 24<\/strong>, the kickoff event<\/strong> marked the beginning of an entrepreneurial growth journey<\/strong> for the 12 selected startups<\/strong>, ready to develop their potential thanks to a network of over 500 mentors, investors, and strategic partners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year’s program stands out for its strong international presence<\/strong>, with participants from seven countries<\/strong>: Denmark, Montenegro, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Hungary<\/strong>, and Italy<\/strong>, which is represented by six startups<\/strong>. This reflects the energy and dynamism of Italy\u2019s entrepreneurial landscape<\/strong>. Since 2020<\/strong>, investments in Italian startups have tripled<\/strong>, increasing from \u20ac500 million to \u20ac1.5 billion<\/strong>, a clear sign of sector growth.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Fondazione CRT, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center<\/strong>, the program has not only attracted startups from around the world<\/strong> but has also helped make Torino and OGR Tech a European hub for innovation<\/strong>. The city has been recognized as the European Capital of Innovation 2024\/2025<\/strong> by the European Commission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year, the selected startups operate in high-growth sectors<\/strong> such as AI, Quantum Computing, HealthTech, Sustainability, AgTech, Retail-Tech, E-Commerce, and Developer Tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
