Turin becomes the international capital of art for a week<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Contemporary Art Week kicks off, making Turin the international hub of art for an entire week. Fondazione CRT, which has always supported the contemporary art system through Fondazione per l\u2019Arte CRT, enables numerous events that enrich the city\u2019s cultural offerings during these days.<\/p>\n

Luci d\u2019artista<\/b><\/h4>\n

The week officially began with the lighting of Luci d\u2019Artista<\/em>, which will illuminate Turin\u2019s streets and squares until January 2025.
\nAmong the highlights of the 27th edition are two new installations: Scia\u2019Mano<\/em> by Luigi Ontani and VR Man<\/em> by Andreas Angelidakis, both located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.

Artissima<\/b><\/h4>\n

\nOVAL Lingotto Fiere, Turin<\/em>
\nUnder the direction of Luigi Fassi, Artissima 2024 will host 189 galleries from 34 countries across 4 continents. The unifying theme of the exhibitions is daydreaming<\/em>, exploring spontaneous thought as a tool for creation.<\/p>\n

For its 31st edition, the Fondazione per l\u2019Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT has increased its historical Acquisition Fund to \u20ac280,000, the highest allocation in the last 12 years. This fund supports the collections of GAM \u2013 Galleria Civica d\u2019Arte Moderna and Castello di Rivoli Museo d\u2019Arte Contemporanea.<\/p>\n

Highlights include the talk \u201cLe Masche | Conversation Between Marta Papini and Giulia Cenci\u201d<\/em> on Sunday, November 3, at 4:30 PM at the Oval Meeting Point. The discussion will focus on the artwork inaugurated in Rittana (CN) on October 6, winner of Radis, an initiative by Fondazione Arte CRT in collaboration with Fondazione CRC.

\nCurated by Roberto Casiraghi and Paola Rampini with artistic direction by Lorenzo Bruni, the 13th edition of The Others<\/em> will be held at the ILO \u2013 International Labour Organization building on Via Maestri del Lavoro 10.<\/p>\n

Fifty exhibitors from Italy, Argentina, Finland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Spain, and Peru will present works reflecting on The World<\/em>, understood as a principle of cosmic harmony and connection with the universe.

\nThe 12th edition of Flashback Habitat<\/em> returns to the picturesque park at Corso Giovanni Lanza 75. Directed by Ginevra Pucci and Stefania Poddighe, this year\u2019s theme is equilibrium?<\/em>, exploring balance across various fields, from science to politics, and its reflection in art.<\/p>\n

Forty galleries from seven countries will participate, with works ranging from 17th-century art to 1990s contemporary languages.

\nOnce again, the soundtrack of Contemporary Art Week will be set by Italy\u2019s largest indoor music festival, featuring 43 artists from 18 countries, 32 performances, 20 Italian exclusives, and 7 debuts spanning experimental music, advanced pop, electronic, rap, rock, jazz, and pop R&B.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme, Living with the Gods<\/em>, marks the festival\u2019s third consecutive year among Pitchfork\u2019s top 30 international festivals.

Fondazione Arte CRT in citt\u00e0<\/b><\/h4>\n

Saturday, November 2 \u2013 Sunday, November 3<\/em>
\nAs a historic partner of numerous Contemporary Art Week initiatives, Fondazione Arte CRT continues to support events organized by TAG Torino Art Galleries.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, November 2, galleries will remain open from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Notte delle Arti Contemporanee<\/em>. The TAG Art Coffee Break will also take place on Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.<\/p>\n

Additionally, works from the Fondazione Arte CRT collection will feature in the reinstallation of GAM and Castello di Rivoli\u2019s collections, as well as in major upcoming temporary exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Visitors can also explore L\u2019opera al nero<\/em>, an exhibition curated by Marta Papini and Leonardo Pietropaolo as part of the Radis project, which connects works from Fondazione Arte CRT and Fondazione CRC. The exhibition is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM until November 10.<\/p>\n
