Do you want to dance? Situazione Xplosiva Association and Fondazione CRT  presented the DEAF REAVE. The party took place on Saturday, October 17th at 10 pm at Torino Esposizioni (Corso Massimo d’Azeglio, 15).

Deaf Raves are parties for the deaf and hearing, where low frequency sounds are highly amplified so that a dancer can feel the vibrations all over their body – on the stomach and chest – and move in time with the music. Deaf and hearing DJs and artists improvise visual displays and dance on the stage, while documentaries and videos are projected onto a wide screen.

Vuoi ballare? L’Associazione Situazione Xsplosiva e Fondazione CRT hanno presentato il DEAF REAVE. La festa si è tenuta presso Torino Esposizioni (Corso Massimo d’Azeglio, 15).

I Deaf  Reave sono party per non udenti e normodotati, durante i quali vengono amplificate a dismisura le frequenze basse, in modo che chi balla possa avvertire le vibrazioni su tutto il corpo – nella pancia, nel petto – e muoversi a tempo. Dj e artisti non udenti e normodotati improvvisano spettacoli visivi e ballano sul palco, su maxi schermi vengono proiettati documentari e video.
