On October 17th, the 2009 edition of Rescue Day organized by Fondazione CRT to reward the efforts of both volunteers and non-volunteers who offer aid, assistance and emergency services in public and private life. A wonderful day in the beautiful Valentino Park in Torino.

On October 17th Associazione Situazione Xplosiva and Fondazione CRT presented Deaf Rave.

Deaf Raves are parties for the deaf and hearing, where low frequency sounds are highly amplified. Deaf and hearing DJs and artists improvise visual displays and dance on the stage.

An important step toward the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics Games. The best athlets from the most important Italian teams face eachothers to win this prestigious Fondazione CRT trophy.


  • Trofeo CRT Sledge Hockey

Italy against Norway, silver in Torino 2006 Paralympic Games: a breathtaking match that gives a little taste of what we’re going to see in the Vancouver Paralympics. The Italian athlets now fight to win Fondazione CRT trophy, but in march 2020 they will fight for a medal.

Sport and art are both messages of peace. The National Library of Torino presented the exhibit SPORTInART, a selection of 50 art works about sport.

  • John Foppe a Torino: what’s your excuse?

On October, 13th GAM hosted Jahn Foppe’s Lectio Magistralis. American author and a speaker known all over the world. Born without arms in 1970, Foppe has had to re-think every aspect of day-to-day life and he learned that the inability to do something didn’t rest on the lack of resources or vision.
