The GPDD is the World Bank’s new initiative, dedicated to disability and development. The association was born in 1980 from a bet: to allow blind people to carry out qualified computer science based professions. ASPHI starts its activities in Bologna, thanks to IBM, the Cavazza Institute and a group of willing people, Giovanni Zanichelli among many others, who brought the idea. (more…)
