"Missione Soccorso" is a Fondazione CRT program in the field of Health that aims to rationalise the emergency services network in the territory and to provide new methods and tools to this sector. The project was born in 2002 to improve the services which report to the regional system for tackling health emergencies and includes the purchase and activation of a decontamination unit for arge-scale emergencies,as well as the implementation of a telematic circuit which integrates all the organisational and operative structures of the system. In the Health sector the Foundation also provides every year around 40 ambulances. To date the Foundation has in total assigned 310 ambulances to non profit organizations, supporting the community an efficient stock of new ambulances.

WHO - 3° EUROPEAN MEETING ON EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE SYSTEM IN EUWHO - Regional office for Europe is now organizing the 3° meeting on "Emergency Medical Service Systems in European Union - An update of the EU Interministerial Panel on emergency care". The meeting is scheduled for 23 and 24 of Ocotber inTorino and will be hosted by Fondazione CRT and 118 Piemonte. The purpose of the meeting is to review the achievement of the "Assessment of EMS System in EU Countries" and to identify future needs and priorities. Aside, the formal establishment of the "EU Interministerial Panel on emergency care" will be proposed. Further details on program and contents will be published here soon. |
